music choices
In our opening clip we mad the bold decision not to include any music what so ever in our film. The disadvantage of doing this we found was that it made it harder for us to build up tension as music is often a key part of doing this. we over came this through our sound choices that we made.
sound choices
In our opening sequence we used narrating as a form of sound as we had to overcome the fact that we didn't use music in opening sequence. We used a slow build in our narrating to try and make our audience feel sorry for our main antagonist even though he is doing something he should not be doing. As well this we wanted our narrator to try and build tension in the opening sequence through what he says. we used a snowball microphone device which cost £48.99 we used this to get the best sound quality of sound from our narrator rather than just using a camera.
Another sound choice we made was with our company logo where we decided to add a sound effect of a bullet along side the logo this was to try make the logo fit together almost as it is called bullet productions however there wasn't a bullet In the logo so we added the sound effect.
