match on action- Is where the editor cuts from one shot to another view that matches the first shot's action. A common example is a man walking up to a door and reaching for the doorknob. we used a match on action to make the story line more realistic as well as to keep the viewers more engaged as it properly shows the character opening the door. we also used the 180 degree rule .The 180 degree rule is a basic guideline regarding the on-screen spatial relationship between a character and another character or object within a scene. An imaginary line called the axis connects the characters, and by keeping the camera on one side of this axis for every shot in the scene, the first character is always frame right of the second character, who is then always frame left of the first. we used this to ensure that the clip looked more realistic and followed the conversation better. we used the rule of thirds as well. The guideline proposes that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections. we used the rule of thirds as it creates more tension, energy and creates more interest from the viewer in the composition than simply making the subject central.
